In such a case, if you make a reservation enquiry with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. Booking information

To reserve a cabin(s), you must complete our reservations enquiry form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology.

At the time of reservation you must provide us with your full name as it appears on your passport as well as your date of birth. By making a booking with us through any of the three methods you will be deemed to have agreed to our information, Terms and Conditions.

Once you have submitted your enquiry through our website, you will receive a “CR” reference number and a bounce back email to the email address provided. This reference number is confirmation we have received your enquiry and we will come back to you shortly with the details of your booking – please be aware, this is not a confirmation and is only a summary of your booking request. We will hold the cabin in your name “for up to 5 days” as controlled by the cruise line themselves. On some cruises, the payment may be required on the day of booking or within 1-5 days of making the booking as controlled by the cruise line.

Once we have held a cabin, we will contact you via phone or email, to advise of availability and confirm the price and details. A booking is confirmed when you have been received an email confirmation notice and should you wish to proceed, we will provide you with our payment options to make your deposit payment (or full payment if the cruise is within 90 days). Your payment then becomes subject to the cancellation policy of the cruise line and Cruise Republic. These are stated in the terms and conditions. When your booking has been confirmed with a deposit payment we will send you your cruise booking number with the cruise line. Once you receive your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date without incurring a penalty. If you are booking via phone, please first make sure you have read the terms and conditions. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the customer to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

In booking on/via this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Cruise Ship company/operator.

Amendments

Once you have paid a deposit against your cruise, any changes made to the booking will incur an amendment fee of $50 plus and applicable fees set you by the cruise line. Please see the Cruise Company's terms and conditions for cancellation and amendment policy.

Cancellations

Once a deposit is made towards your cruise holiday it is deemed that you have accepted our terms and conditions, so are subject to any cancellation fees. Bookings cancelled after the deposit is paid, will incur a cancellation fee of $200 per cabin plus any additional cancellation fees set out by the cruise line. There are no cool down periods. Please see the Cruise Company's terms and conditions for cancellation and amendment policy.

Due to the issuing of refunds via Cheque by the cruiselines, refunds can take 4-6 weeks to reach us should you be entitled to any refund.

Payments

Payments towards your cruise holiday made by credit cards are subject to a transaction fee of 1.5% for Visa and Mastercard payments. We also accept AMEX which incur a 3.2% credit card fee. Debit cards are processed like a credit card therefore credit card fees will apply per transaction. Payments made by bank deposit do not incur any transaction fees nor do payments made using the BPAY payment system. Please be aware payments made via bank deposit or BPAY within 24 hours of your booking expiring will require a legitimate receipt/screen shot of payment emailed through.

Onboard Credits

On selected departures we will offer you onboard credits & these may not be combinable with all cabin categories and promotions. We will send you through a confirmation which will confirm if the onboard credit is available against your booking. Making changes to your reservation could result in any onboard credits being removed. Once you have embarked the ship, the onboard credit will be applied to your onboard account to use towards any onboard purchases. Any unused portion of the Onboard Credit will expire at midnight on the last night of your cruise and is not redeemable for cash at any time.

'Guarantee' (GTY) Bookings

From time to time, we may offer you the option of making what we call a 'Guarantee (GTY) booking. This means you may book a stateroom of a guaranteed category type (Inside, Outside, Balcony) on your chosen ship and cruise. However, the exact grade, number and location of the stateroom on the ship will be allocated at the cruise lines discretion and at any time until checking in at the Port. Once your GTY stateroom has been allocated to you, we are unable to accept any changes requested by you. The benefits of a GTY stateroom are that after your booking has been confirmed, the cruise line may (at their discretion) upgrade your stateroom to a higher classed category to that originally booked at no extra charge to you. In any event, you are 'guaranteed' the minimum category you decide to book at the time of the cruise including obstructed view cabins.
If travelling with Family and Friends where you require cabins to be near one another we strongly recommend for you not to book on a Guarantee.
We cannot guarantee your cabins will be assigned near one another, on the same deck, same side or forward/aft on the ship nor accept any requests.

Complimentary Upgrades

Depending on any last minute availability the cruise lines will automatically upgrade cabins to higher categories. The upgrades can place you towards the front of the ship, midships or at the back of the ship and not necessarily on a higher deck level (i.e.: Insides Deck 10 may be upgraded to Ocean view Deck 5). As the cruise lines cannot upgrade every booking, you should book a category in which you are happy to sail. Once the upgrade has been assigned, should you dislike the cabin location we are unable to accept any changes or requests and cannot be reversed.
If travelling with family and friends where you require cabins to be near one another we strongly recommend for you to decline the upgrades. The cruise line do not guarantee all of the cabins will be upgraded, or that they will be upgraded near one another.

Future Cruise Credits

While we are happy to apply your Future Cruise Credits from the cruiselines to your booking with us, this may affect your online discounted pricing. We will still do our best to provide competitive pricing based on the discount we can offer on the new cruise fare once the future cruise credits have been applied to your booking. Please note if Future Cruise Credits are applied after your deposit has been paid may affect your final balance.

Passport & Visa Requirements.

For all international cruises all passengers will require to be in possession of a valid passport. The passport must have 6 months validity from the cruise return date.
Visa's may also be required and at the sole responsibility of the passenger. Please check with the relevant embassies or a Visa Services company for assistance.
Cruise Republic will not take any responsibility for passport or visa requirements.

If you decline, we will not email you with such offers. We also always give you the opportunity to unsubscribe and opt out of receiving these emails. We treat your details as confidential and we NEVER disclose your information to third parties other than the supplier who is fulfilling your cruise holiday.

All amendments and any cancellations must be approved through the first person named on the booking. In the case of any in-cabin disputes our contract is with the first person named on the booking and we will only follow instructions given by them.

Deposits

A deposit must be made in order to reserve a stateroom and receive a written confirmation. A deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Celebrity cruises reserves the right to require that the deposit be received by Celebrity cruises within five (5) days of booking.

On some cruises, the deposit may be required on the day of booking or within 1-5 days of making the booking, as controlled by Celebrity cruises.

Final Payment

Final payment of the balance must be received by Celebrity cruises at least 90 days prior to the sailing date for the cruise. If we have not received all monies due to us in full and on time, we are entitled to assume that you wish to cancel your cruise and cancellation charges as set out below.

Last Minute Deals

Full payment is required at the time of booking

Cabins are on a Guarantee Status therefore no cabin number will be assigned at the time of booking. A cabin number will only be allocated closer to departure by Celebrity Cruises. Please refer to “Guarantee (GTY) Bookings.

Fares are not combinable with any onboard credit promotion.

Fare is fully non refundable and non transferable.

Go Big, Go Better, Go Best

For brand new bookings for Oceanview Staterooms and above. 

Offer provides each of the first 2 guests in an Oceanview Stateroom and above booking with a complimentary Go Big option, which includes a Classic Beverage package valued at USD $55 per person per day. You can swap this for complimentary gratuities, unlimited WIFI or Onboard credit if you would prefer.

For an additional charge select Go Better option and receive a choice of two amenities or the Go Best option and receive all four amenities plus an upgrade to the Premium Drinks package. Charge varies by selected tier and cruise nights. go Better is charged at an additional AUD/NZD$20 per person per day and Go Best is an additional AUD $60 per person per day.

Guests who are eligible must advise of their chosen perk/s at the time of booking otherwise the the guests will receive the Free Classic Beverage Package and Free Prepaid Gratuities.

Existing individual bookings made prior to August 9th 2015 can upgrade to Go Better or Go Best for the relevant additional charge but bookings must move to the prevailing rates. 

Any cancellation or and reinstatement of a booking at any time after deposit has been received may result in the loss of the offer. Any other changes to the reservation may also result in the forfeit of promotions, ths can include, but is not limited, downgrades, re-pricing and changes to ship and/or sail date. 

Price Changes

We guarantee that we will not increase the price of your confirmed cruise once we have received full payment of the total cruise price from you. However, we may increase or decrease the prices of unsold cruises at any time. The price of your chosen cruise will be confirmed at the time of booking. After your booking is confirmed but before full payment is received, we will only increase the price if there is an increase in the cost of any transport included in the price and/or in any dues, taxes or fees payable for any services (for example, port taxes or charges of any sort). We will not ask you to pay more within 30 days of departure.

If you purchase your air transportation from Celebrity Cruises, Celebrity Cruises reserves the right to reassess the airfare component of any flight charges as supplied by Celebrity Cruises to a customer covering any fuel surcharge, security or other increases as passed onto Celebrity Cruises. All deposited bookings remain, until fully paid to Celebrity Cruises, subject to currency fluctuation and adjustments without notice when quoted in local currencies against the US dollar.

From time to time we may release special offers on some cruises. If you wish to change your booking to take advantage of these offers then you will have to cancel your existing booking where upon our standard cancellation policy (includes charges) will apply.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you or anyone travelling with you wishes to cancel you/their cruise or flights, you must immediately give notice in writing to us so that we can give Celebrity cruises notice of cancellation on your behalf. The cruise and flights will only be deemed cancelled from the date we actually receive written notice. Insurance premiums and or amendment charges cannot be refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Replacement of guest or full correction of surname or first name= $75.00

If tickets HAVE been issued:

Replacement of guest or full correction of surname or first name = $81.00 

One original passenger from the booking must always remain in the cabin.

Pregnancy

Passengers who will be pregnant during their cruise are required to supply a physicians ‘fit to travel’ note, including your estimated due date, prior to embarkation. We are unable to accept any passengers who will have entered their 24th week or later of pregnancy, by the end of the cruise


Travel Insurance

All international guests should have fully comprehensive travel insurance valid from the date of deposit being made. Policies can be purchased that provide protection in the event of trip cancellation, interruption, personal illness, injury, medical fees or damage to property. Verification of your travel insurance policy may be required by Celebrity cruises.

Gratuity Guidelines

Gratuities (tipping) are now included in your cruise fare when booking in Australian Dollars.
Any additional tips are at your discretion.

Guarantee' (GTY) Bookings

From time to time, we may offer you the option of making what we call a 'Guarantee (GTY) booking. This means you may book a stateroom of a guaranteed category type (Interior, Oceanview, Balcony or Suite) on your chosen ship and cruise. However, the exact grade, number and location of the stateroom on the ship will be allocated by us (at our discretion) and at any time until checking in at the Port. Once your GTY stateroom has been allocated to you, we are unable to accept any changes requested by you. The benefits to you of a GTY stateroom are that after your booking has been confirmed, we may (at your discretion) upgrade your stateroom to one of a superior category to that originally booked at no extra charge to you. In any event, you are 'guaranteed' the minimum category of stateroom we agree to offer at the time of booking. At times, we may offer promotional GTY offers.

Such promotional GTY categorise are defined as follows:
W – Suite/Deluxe

XA – Aqua Class Cabin

XC – Concierge Class Cabin

X – Balcony cabin

Y – Oceanview cabin

Z – Interior cabin

Please note: If you book 2 more cruises to be taken consecutively (back to back) and either one or all cruises are booked under a GTY basis, you may be allocated different staterooms on each cruise, therefore necessitating the need to move between staterooms on the changeover day between your consecutive cruises.

Onboard Credits

From time to time we may offer Onboard credit promotions. An onboard credit is monetary amount in US Dollars which is applied to your onboard account for onboard purchases. Some Onboard credits may not be combinable with other offers, please check with your Travel Agent. Any unused portion of the Onboard Credit will expire at midnight on the last night of your cruise and is not redeemable for cash at any time. Onboard Credit is not transferable between any cruises, including consecutive cruises.

Dining onboard

You have a choice of 3 options for dinner in the Main Dining Room. These are subject to availability at the time of booking.

  • Fixed Seating – dine at the same reserved table each night on either early or late sitting (approx 6pm and 8.30pm respectively)

  • Celebrity Select Dining (Open seating) – giving guests flexibility with their evening dining. You can decide when you would like to dine between the hours of 6pm and 8.30pm each night. If Celebrity Select Dining is selected, prepaid gratuities/tips are required to be included at time of booking.

Special Needs and Diets

Guests must notify us of any dietary requirement at time of booking. If you have any special dietary needs, Celebrity cruises can accommodate the following special dietary needs onboard: food allergies, gluten free, vegetarian, diabetic, low-fast, low-sodium and low-cholesterol. Other special diets such as Kosher and lactose meals may be available upon advanced request. Note: Kosher meals are pre packed and are only available for dinner in the main restaurant. Celebrity cruises does not provide baby food.

Please note that whilst we are able to take requests for the specific dietary requirements and take note of food intolerances, this is confined to the Main Dining Room on each ship. We are unable to guarantee or accept responsibility that the food served in any other food establishment onboard our ships will be able to cater for specific dietary requirements and food intolerances.

Travelling with Children

Infants sailing on a cruise/cruise tour must be at least 6 months old as of the first day of the cruise/cruise tour. However, for Transatlantic, Transpacific, Hawaii, and selected South American and other cruises/cruise tours, the infant must be at least 12 months old (as of the first day of the cruise/cruise tour). Denial of boarding for infants who do not satisfy these minimum age requirements may also result in the denial of boarding for one or more guests sailing with that infant. No refunds or other compensation shall be due from the cruise line to anyone as a result of the denial of boarding to an under-age infant or other accompanying guests.

Unaccompanied Minors

No guest under the age of 21 will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. This age limit will be waived for minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms and for legally married couples between the age of 18­21. Proper, legal documentation showing proof of marriage will be required. An individual’s age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation.

Travel Documents and Identification requirements

Passports, visas and vaccinations are your responsibility.

Without the necessary passport, visas and/or vaccinations, local authorities may deny you boarding, prevent you from going ashore, issue a fine or deny the ship entry into the port. Guests who do not possess the proper documentation may be prevented from boarding the flight or ship or from disembarking or entering a country and may be subject to fines.

VERY IMPORTANT:

No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

Please check with a travel agent, government agencies, embassies, consulates, your physician or local health departments to determine travel and health documentary requirements.

Guests under the age of 16 who wish to go ashore unaccompanied will be required to have a consenting parent, guardian or other responsible adult with them at the gangway to provide their signature as authorization.

Embarkation Forms

In order to make your boarding process as simple as possible, we offer an online method of providing information we need before you can embark on the vessel. Just visit www.celebritycruises.com to fill out your embarkation forms.

Note: Applicable laws and regulations may require Celebrity Cruises to collect and pass on to governmental and other authorised bodies certain personal and other details related to you. If you fail to supply the details requested fully and accurately, you may not be permitted to board the ship. If, as a result of your failure to comply with the foregoing, Celebrity incurs any fines, surcharges or other financial penalty, you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.

Cruise Documents

Guest cruise documents provide information relevant to the sailing. Normally, documents will be received by the travel agent 20–50 days prior to sailing, assuming cruise elements are finalised and payments made.

Regardless of document status, no one will be allowed passage unless his or her name appears on the ship’s guest manifest.

Embarkation/Boarding Process

Boarding normally begins at 2:00 pm. It is the guest’s responsibility to arrive on time. Please check with your travel agent to confirm boarding and departure times. For international guests we recommend you allow at least two hours for the boarding process. Failure to check in at least 60 minutes in advance will constitute a no show. Your booking will be cancelled and cancellation charges will be assessed.

Note: For security reasons, guests are not allowed to bring visitors on board Celebrity vessels in any port.

Alcohol policy

The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on all Celebrity Cruises ships is twenty one (21). However on International cruises departing from any port other than North America, where the legal drinking age is typically lower than 21, a parent or legal guardian who is sailing with his or her son(s) and/or daughter(s) who is between the ages of 18 to 20, may sign a waiver allowing the 18 to 20 year old to consume alcoholic beverages. The 18 to 20 year old guest must agree to comply with Celebrity’s policies, including among other things, agreeing to not provide alcoholic beverages to any other person, regardless of age. Restrictions apply and this policy is subject to change without notice.

Please note: An individual’s age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation. Guests who violate any alcohol policies, may be disembarked or not allowed to board, at their own expense, in accordance with our Guest Vacation Policy.

Shore Excursions

Please book your excursions as soon as possible since some shore excursions can accommodate only a limited number of participants. Tours are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and we recommend that you purchase them in advance of your cruise in order to avoid disappointment. Please visit www.royalcaribbean.com for online booking details. Onboard, you may purchase tours at the front desk or directly at the Shore Excursion Office during the hours advertised in the ship’s daily program. Unused shore excursions are non-refundable once booked.
